As of yesterday morning, Ginny weighed eight pounds even! This morning, she was 8 lbs 1.4 ounces, so definitely on track and headed in the right direction. I’m very relieved, although Steve says he knew all along there wasn’t anything to worry about.
By the way, I had to use a calculator to convert the scale’s 8.09 pounds into pounds + ounces. That whole old wives’ tale about losing your memory and mental acuity when you have a baby? Totally real.
